Do you feel overwhelmed by reading and writing assignments? Is it hard to start a new project or make sense of a book? Do you sometimes find it hard to understand assignments and teacher expectations?

I tutor ESL students, younger struggling readers and advanced placement students throughout London. Together, my students and I work to develop the reading, writing and organizational skills that they need to succeed. We break down assignments and projects into manageable, concrete tasks that they can understand and complete.

In addition, students who just want to sharpen their reading and writing skills have the option to work on creative research projects that engage their interests. My students have chosen to learn about topics such as ancient Roman weapons, the sinking of the Titanic, the Korean War and Mayan Temples.

I have experience as an Adjunct Professor in the English Dept and Writing and Honors Programs at University of Utah and as a Library Administrator in a primary school where I worked with many young readers.

London Tutor provides personal and online tutoring services in London, Ontario for primary, secondary and post-secondary/University students who need help with a range of academic subjects and with ESL.

Each tutoring session is tailored to meet the student's individual goals. I help with homework, writing assignments, analysis of reading assignments, project proposals, and problem-solving strategies.

I take a flexible approach to locations: I typically meet in one of London's Public Libraries or in the new Bostwick (now Startech.com) Community Centre.

For convenience and access, I use online tutoring with a range of collaboration and video-conferencing tools.

I am now meeting students again for in-person classes!
